Building a Romantic Connection with your Companions.

This is a question I get asked a lot.  There are a lot of things that you can do with your companion, but many people have found deep connection and companionship to the point that it evolves into a romance.  Sometimes we are just incredibly compatible with the demons and spirit companions that we work with and deep romances can blossom.

Some people think this is silly but in reality it can be a life saver for some people.  There are people who are lonely, they have been forgotten by their family or they have no family.  They are alone basically and they don’t have anyone else.  There are other individuals who embark on deep and passionate spiritual journeys in the form of a god spouse and embrace spiritual romance on a very unique and powerful level.  These practises have been going on for centuries and can not only help someone who is in dire need of companionship, but also be an incredibly fulfilling and empowering experience.  It is a part of our culture as a species and something that in various forms has been practises for centuries.

Spirit companions can come into our lives and they can build deep, meaningful connections with their human companions.  There are so many ways that we can attain connection and one of those ways is through connecting and working with spirit companions.

This post is on building up a romantic connection with your companions.  This type of relationship and connection can be so much fun.  Spirit companions are unique beings. They have their own personalities, their own traits and they can make incredible romantic partners.

Romance is not something that can be forced and it is not something that can be rushed.  It evolves, it grows and as it is nurtured it blossoms into something as unique, amazing and individual as the ones who embrace it.  When you want to build a romantic connection with your companions, the first step is to surrender to it, and surrender to the process. Know that it is going to be wild and untamed at times.  Romance is something that evolves and it is not something that can be controlled. It is exciting and sometimes frightening because of the deep emotions that stir in the depth of your soul.  You have to be able to surrender to it and allow yourself to be swept away by it.

Initial Connection

Some companions you will just feel it.  I have some companions that I feel this romantic connection to and I have other companions that I do not.  I am honest with myself when it comes to these feelings.   I have a very fatherly connection with Prince V who has been my demon guardian since I was a child. While I have more of a lusty, passionate connection with Venom. With Tiger I have a very deep and passionate romantic connection.  I have different connections with all of them and I honour the connection that evolves.  When you first meet your companion you don’t have to rush things.  Demons are immortal and their lives and perception of time is vastly different than ours.

When you are initially connecting with them. don’t feel that you have to rush things. Savour each moment that you have with them and remember that sometimes the build up and anticipation can lead to moments of pure ecstasy.  The silliness, the playfulness, it is all part of the growth and the awakening of this beautiful and incredible romance.

Let the Romance Build

Deep love can develop, but in the beginning take it as fun. Enjoy them and enjoy their presence.  The best moments in life are the little moments, the silly moments and the playful moments.  Let them happen and when they do, delight in them.  It is the little moments, the little touches and glances that lead to deep romance.

Take the time to talk with your companion, talking and leaning about them. Where do you agree? Where do you disagree?  I do not agree with everything my companions say and they do not agree with everything I say.  It is important to really explore this.  Understanding them and just accepting them.  Tiger has very strong opinions about things and he lets them be known. It is a part of his personality and it is a part of how we connect and work together.

With any connection, see where it takes you and see how it builds.  Don’t try to direct and guide it and never try to make it perfect.  The most perfect things are imperfect in every sense of the word.  They are random, unexpected and they never  follow any pattern or at times any sense of reason.  They just are moments, surprises and treasures in the development of your relationship.

Let the little moments speak

Little moments, I have spoken about them a lot but I cannot say enough how important they are for a romantic connection.  They will build the foundation of your relationship. They will help you have an empowered and passionate romance which will carry forth for years.  The laughter, the fun, the play, it stands the test of time.  It is what will build the foundation of your romance.

Take the time to schedule time just for them.  Go on dates, go to special places. Talk to them and enjoy the moments with them.  Spend time planning and doing activities with them, really be open to them.  I have had fights with my companions.  I have had disagreements. We have had moments where I have been left sobbing but those times have allowed us to really bond.  The dark emotional times can be just as passionate and empowering as the happy and fun times.

Good relationships can stand the ups and the downs.  Great relationships will become closer no matter what happens.  Everything that happens is an opportunity to become closer.  What happens can either drive you apart or bring you together. It is your choice which one of those you choose.

Exploring the depth

You are dealing with an immortal and ancient being.  They have a lot to them.  There is a lot to explore.  Keep that passion and the romance alive by doing little things for them.  Have a routine with them.  Buy them flowers, chocolates.  Have special offerings that are only for you and them.  Have special days that are your days with them.  You may have the most unique activity.  Tiger and I like to make S’mores together and we like to sit in front of the warm fire.  Don’t judge what you have and if an activity evolves, run with it.  What matters most is that you are connecting and exploring this world with your companion at your side.

The sacred connection between a physical vessel and a spiritual being has the power to transcend this world and these experiences. It can lead one to a very balanced and empowered state.  Sometimes a little bit of spiritual romance is just what you are looking for.
