Can you have unpopular demons (Like Zagan, the Mesopotamian demon Pazuzu, etc) be your patron? Are there even summoning rituals for them?

Your patron can be any demon you feel a strong calling to, that you work well with and that you can learn lots from. I would not assume a patron role for any demon without working with them for a bit to see if they are mentors, there for a bit to teach you something before you get moved on to another demon, or whether you are really lifelong committed to them. Don't rush the decision or do so to be edgy with an 'unpopular demon' (is there one?) just be sure you are ready to commit. Working with a demon is not the same as entering into a patronage relationship.

I think S. Connolly has written about working with Zagan.
Also I think she may have a vid on YouTube about him.

Didn’t Pazuzu get a bad rap from the “Poltergeist” movie? Isn’t he like a wind demon?

For some people, Loki is considered unpopular so you’re not really out of place by wanting to work with beings that aren’t the ‘mainstream.’
I like Ose myself and you don’t hear many working with him.

I've read that Ose can drive the conjurer's target insane (I've discovered this in a few sources online, including wikipedia) ?? is there any evidence for this? Still an interesting demon though. :possessed:

Actually I think it’s that you can ask him to drive someone else insane, by making them believe they are something they are not.

Yes, that's what i've found, like a king, a pope, or any authority figure I guess.

In Mesopotamian religion, Pazuzu is the king of the wind demons. I'll check out S. Connolly for sure. How do you even evoke them? Practically nobody works with them. Seems like there are no sources about them whatsoever.

I don’t know about evoking Pazuzu but there is plenty of info about the Goetic demons scattered around.

To butt into this topic....

After your guardian reveals himself to you, how does anybody acknowledge him? I don't really work with demons but am a theistic Luciferian. Should I simply recognize him in ritual? I don't want to take away from Father Lucifer.

At the moment I keep his sigil on my altar, but that's about the extent of it.

And to comment on a non-mainstream demon, my guardian is Kimaris (Cimejes, Cimeries, Cimeries and even Khepu)

You wouldn't be taking anything away from Lucifer, if you started working with any other spirit. Just because he is your patron does not mean you can't work with anyone else.
