Exploration is cool; it is definitely interesting, as long as you use discernment and see the experience for what it is. That is the main thing. My base though is always my own senses.

Regarding your friend, his comments are not a recipe for making friends that is for sure. What most people say is a reflection of them and aspd individuals are antagonistic and struggle with low self esteem. Their criticism of others reflects what they feel inside.

My friend means well, as he is intending to help me stay grounded.
He cares about me deeper than you'd think in his own way.
He has saved my ass quite a few times.
He didn't direct his comments directly at the forum. I shared that from a private conversation we had.
I respect that he is secular. I understand where he is coming from and I know he means well and is just looking out for my health and betterment.

I think I should be balanced between secularity and spirituality. Being grounded is very important in any spiritual practice.

I'd rather be overly grounded than overly spiritual.
Rather I am overly spiritual and not as grounded as I should be so I'm working to balance that.

It seems a strange thing to say, considering I don't know your friend, and those comments are naturally going to make me dislike him. I mean no offence, just curious.

It was about the forum but it was encouraging me to be more grounded. He is helping me limit my time here and not spend too much time here. Especially if arguments occour.
Dont take it personally par se.
He just prefers to be atheist and the atheist way of viewing things.
He means well and is just looking out for me in his own way.

His point on that is spiritual folks' version of grounding and a secular version of grounding are two different versions.

I'd rather not discuss the past, as other folks can see these posts and the administration may get the wrong idea.

My friend is not looking to make friends on an occult forum.
He has no issues making friends irl or online. In fact he is well respected.

The original comment wasn't nice and I responded with my thoughts, it is my nature. There are better ways of reminding someone to stay grounded without being insulting. People are responsible for their words and behaviours, aspd or no aspd.
