It's something so elemental to our existence, yet hardly anyone notices it. Thoughts are things. They are physical things. They can and are manifested on the Astral even if the the thinker is unaware of it, even if the thinker refuses to believe it. Belief is not necessary anymore than belief is necessary for Karma or gravity to work.

In full disclosure, I skipped the wiki definitions and page 2 of the comments before posting this.

My Goetic chanting, perhaps, who knows, but via some means I banished Slenderman from poking the area directly around my house, but guess what! One of my kids' schools is right across the street, and his whispered legends came home with said kid this morning!

I used to work in a certain form of mass media, and it is extremely bizarre and upsetting to have other persons create an egregore of you through their continued focus and persistent workings. Though come to think of it, I now work directly with my animus/male self, dark child/sullen doll, doppleganger/shadow self, a variety of fylgia of differing definitions, and still have my Carnivale flesh creature, so... maybe doing something besides hiding from her would be appropriate.

Knowing al this, how can you not know that WE are the creators of our own realities? Hello, Mental Mastery! I am the master creator of the egregore known as my life! :grindevil:

@SH but to what extent do you think or believe others can influence our own creation? I mean so you are the creator or your own life yes, but do others view the egeregore you create the same or differently? and then what is more real if there is a reality at all? in my viewpoint everyone exists in different paradigms anyway, its where they intersect and how that is interesting

Perhaps multiple viewpoints is where multi-dimensional reality comes in?

I was thinking of the ring trilogy in relation to this. Another thing, a creepy thing, but another thing nonetheless, porn. It should come as no surprise that porn of all sorts soaks up A LOT of human energy. How does this manifest? I would imagine that it is rather straightforward on the Astral, but what is it doing here on the Material? What does it do to the women and men who are the "actors" in the videos and magazines? What does it do to the "consumer" when they expend so much energy manifesting their sexual fantasies? Those fantasies are played out on the Astral, and given the usually intense focus such fantasies hold, I suspect more than a little of it manifests here as well.
Speaking strictly for myself, I have sex on the Astral a lot. Very rarely is it "fantasy" sex from my Material life. Interestingly, it does not happen with great regularity that sex is with people I know in this incarnation. When it is, it is invariably with a woman I had/have a strong emotional/psychic/physical connection with. I have had lovers I have not seen in decades "ring me up" on the Astral to fuck and catch up on what we are doing with our lives.

Those dreams have a quality of their own that sets them apart from other dreams. They are NOT wish fulfillment. It does make me happy that they still care enough to contact me out of a desire to see how things are with me. Sometimes things are not going so great with them. I have had a couple of ex-lovers contact me on the Astral because they REALLY wanted to talk to me, so to speak, about problems they were having in their lives. In a lot of ways, these Astral meetings accomplish more than meeting "face to face" here on the Material Plane. The sex is much more uninhibited to boot. A very fun "plus"

MCU-Loki is a definite egregore, one that real Loki enjoys capitalizing on.

I'll bet! I wonder sometimes if he's communicated with Tom Hiddleston.
