Yes, I remember that song, and yes, I knew it was in German, too. How or why I knew, I don't remember.

I've heard that the inspiration for that song came when Mark Knopfler ducked into a department store to get out of the rain and overheard a conversation about himself.

The song was written by Mike Chapman and Patty was supposed to work with him again to do "Love Is a Battlefield" as her next single, but she got pregnant and Pat Benatar ended up doing the song.
She says she loved the song but hated the video and begged the record company to do a new one, but they liked the video they had... And so it was.

Now that we have the event going on and Sins count for is used again like previously. I want to do my posting in this Music thread a little differently. I post a lot in my blog, and this is not "spam" for points. I'm sharing in the Music thread like I have done before, but now I'll introduce the song a little more or say something more about it than I normally do. And also because of the changes for the event, I'll change up out of the current theme.

We went to a three act concert to see Twin Temple as the opening act. We loved them. We had never heard of the other two acts. The second act was Volbeat, and they were ok. Ghost took a long time setting up their stage. There were so many times either one of us wanted to leave, but the other said, "no, let's wait just a little while longer."

And then, Ghost started with this very song:



With Ghost calling the Dark Lords at the very beginning, I immediately was jumping out of my seat and screaming! In that moment, I became an instant Ghost fan.

I was screaming, "HAIL SATAN!" in the chorus parts. I felt released and free. It was amazing! Their entire act was amazing.

I am super excited to say we have tickets for their concert coming up.
