Halloween Advent Calendar
Day Seventeen
For day 17 we will be cooking a seasonal dish with our companion(s).
Sharing and cooking food is one of the most incredible bonding experiences that we do with family, friends and loved ones. Each season often comes with its own delights and seasonal dishes. To mark this Halloween season, we will invite our companion to cook with us. First pick a dish that is special to you or that you simply enjoy during this time. Get all the materials you need, and you can include your companion in this process of gathering the ingredients if you wish.
Invite them to connect with you as you share some of your culture with them. Feel their impressions, curiosity, and any comments during the cooking process. Are there things they find odd? Delightful? Amusing? Make notes of these things. Once the food is ready offer your companion(s) a piece and see what they think.
Share a picture below of what you made with them and what the experience was like. How did they respond to the food you cooked?
