A fun controversy and an adaptable Love Spell

When I was younger and learning my way through the world of magick, some of the earliest spells I would cast were love based.
At that time in my life I was a girl just evolving from puppy loves to infatuations and looking for something to hold onto. I never paid much mind to what made something dark or light, what might have been wrong or right.. none of that existed. For me magick was simply a way of getting what I wanted, no matter what it was, and forethought was not a part of that equation. I always succeeded with magick.

So I cast a spell on someone I had been in some semblance of amorousness with, which eventually fell apart. You don't need all the details. It was game on. I was sad *aww poor Noc* and I wanted to try again. LOL. First mistake is emotional impulse, second is concluding we can choose our second chances.
Unforeseen mistake was that this guy was actually, severely mentally disturbed.
What did the magick do? It worked! And that's the problem. Promptly I realized I wanted NOTHING to do with the guy! OOps, big mistake.. because now obsession was afoot, and I am sure the force of what I had cast did not do any favors to temper that madness :Cthulu: It's likely that single influence is still active to this day. To an extent what we do of this nature is irreversible, and it would be wise to keep that in mind.
When I finally shook him off, he put me on his 'list'. List of people he would like to kill.

This is a place we can be direct right? I hope so. Because I'm telling you, love magick made someone want to kill me. I still find it funny though for all of you take heed, it's a scary thing.

Have I learned my lesson? Weeeellll.. kind of.. LOL. I still like to take risks, who doesn't? I've learned a lot from them.

What I'm going to do is give you the exact spell I used so that you can do it yourself and learn the same consequences, or perhaps even conquer your love. Yay! Either way it is effective. That is my warning.. it's EFFECTIVE.

And it is also alarmingly simple :

Take a tall red candle, anoint it with rose oil
Carve the name of the person you want to adore you, onto said candle
Place a pin in each letter of the name
Burn candle until the pins have fallen out (this means to burn through the name)

During this you should focus your intent on the candle, that it is literally burning with your desire.

Now, I already had some experience at the point I had cast this, as well as a level of natural magickal aptitude and a connection to certain gods/goddesses. So that could have impacted the intensity of the result.
I can say I prayed to Aphrodite and had her bless the candle. It would work best if you chose a love goddess you have a personal bond with.

I've never shared this simple spell before because I know it's dangerous. It's not advanced by any means, but it is dangerous.

Recognize that what you think you want, isn't always what you need at a time in your life. And pretty soon you might find, you change your mind either way.. Well there is no 'changing your mind' when you take on the responsibility of casting forceful magick. That's what you get and it is yours to deal with. I'm lucky, but others have not been.

That said, I always see everyone asking about effective love spells to make someone stay with you and whatever. Even if it's forcing someone to realize how awesome you are, it can backfire. Force can backfire. I like it a lot, but I'm no fool to what can result.. and the inexperienced need not fool around with it.

There are better spells, they don't have to be all white lighted.. but there are spells of duality that put force behind - not the intention of attracting a specific person - but the attention of making the right thing happen for you. And that's the difference.
Get over your 'lost loves'.. move on and use magick that will force the phenomenal changes and real loves and genuine needs.

Or you can use that spell I gave you above. Choice is a wondrous thing.

If I am going to be nice, I could say that it would work to alter the spell to be less of a nightmare. Just replace the name of a specific person with something like 'dream guy/girl' or 'soul mate' or something.. you know.. that gives you more leeway. Your intent and visualization here would have to be fairly open though, not a specific person but rather qualities, or just a focus of resonance with your energy current.

Go forth and sin a little!

This is a great post. :devilthumbs: Thank you for posting it and sharing your not so great result with it. I myself have always been weary of love spells for the very reasons you've indicated. I have never tried one- probably because the crazies find me without magickal intervention lol Im not saying i'm above this sort of thing, im not.. I guess i never found anyone i wanted bad enough. Okay *maybe* johnny depp... hey now there's an idea... ;)

Thank you Noctifera for this amazing post :devillove:
I don't believe there should be any force involved in spells or any types of casting whatsoever as well. I think you should allow the energies of the spell to flow out. I find it a lot easier to want to bring in a dream person for me than trying to force another to love me it's just not genuine and true and I'll hate if anyone was forced to love me I'd rather have something real and beautiful.

LOL !!! So true. The crazies ALWAYS find me as well

As for this post. This is a great post. I like how you placed warnings all over in this post, but yet I know some people will do it anyway. Even after you told this story.

My take on love spells is this. If it takes magick to make a person love me then I do not want their love. It was not meant to be. It's like forcing two positive charged magnets together. It's not supposed to happed.

In my opinion love should not be forced. It usually ends disastrous. True love is where you find the love and happiness with another individual that one is desperately yearning for, as to why they are doing the love spell in the first place.
