Workin' It!: RuPaul's Guide

Okay, this is a weird one, but bear with me a moment. I picked up this book because it's currently free reading through Amazon Prime, and because RuPaul's Drag Race is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I wasn't expecting much from it, really, but I was curious to see what Ru had to say in this li...

Re: Imps in human form?

Actually not single spirit (almost) appeared to me in demonic form, not even any of the Lords. Maybe your perception is so hard coded human shaped, that they have it easier to appear like that. I certainly seem to be a challenge for people to control my dreams/visions. I'm the same way, Apro--it's ...

Re: PM funtion, or lack thereof.

There was a news announcement made about this issue. The PM system has been disabled across the board for all members, with no ETA of its return. Worry not; it's not just you, and it's nothing you did to warrant its removal.

Re: Affirmations?

I use "I am" statements to get me in certain mindsets, when needed, or to focus myself on a goal. I don't like using "I will," "I want," or "I desire," specifically because that implies space between what I am seeking and the time frame it is going to manifest...

Very nice! I especially like her little skull helm--wonderful little touch! Don't be embarrassed to share your work, I think this is a wonderful start for someone who usually just doodles when boredom hits!

Re: Music Thread

This thread is making my computer want to commit hara-kiri, but I feel the need to share, so I force my computer to struggle with the loading, pff. I love The Correspondents. Electroswing is one of my favorite genres... plus, I love the aesthetic of the main singer, and their overall direction. MZuk...

Feeling Stressed or Anxious?

You won't be after you listen to the song Weightless by Marconi Union. It is supposedly so effective that listeners are warned to not listen to the song while driving, as they may become drowsy. It uses entrainment to slow the heart, among other things... Calm the F*** Down: http://www.youtube.com/p...

Re: familars question

Your demon binding, ordered from Akelta, is meant to be your companion. She has an extensive system by which she tests and examines all individuals coming through to potentially work with you. You do not need to ward or "protect yourself" from them. However, that said, shielding is always ...

Re: Goddess appreciation

I have had several goddesses step in to my life and express an interest in working with me, and for that I feel very blessed. Goddess Athena is the first that comes to mind; she has been present in my life since I was a child, and I certainly consider her one of my primary deities. Goddess Hel of th...

Re: Gratitude Journal.

I'm glad you found something that helped you so much. Those gratitude journals and things similar to them seem hokey at first, but they truly can help us to get into a better mindset rather than one of constant lack. I'm thinking I should get one of those, myself; I'm just so terrible at journalling...
